SGX Nifty Futures
(Change Vs Today’s Nifty Futures (NSE) Closing)
Nifty Futures 24th Jan 2017
Nifty Futures / SGX Nifty moved higher in the morning gave a pullback and again closed at the high point of the day. As per our analysis, we had mentioned in our last update that do not get too optimistic nor too pessimistic in the immediate term and markets have behaved exactly as per what we have been anticipating. Now there are some very important Astro cycle changes taking place this week. On 26-27th Jan 2017 Saturn will change house as per Vedic astrology system and that will mean a significant shift in the market forces over the next 2.5 years because Saturn stays in one house for around 2.5 years but we are not bothered about the later part of this transit. We are more focused on what this transit will do over the next 12 months and we have clearly mentioned in our Diwali update also that we do not see stocks making money by using a buy and hold strategy and till now that has been spot on. Those investors who have used a buy and hold system have not made any money and as per our analysis we see that those investors who are using buy and hold system will not make money over the next 12 months so once again we are saying that keep in mind that longer term target is of 5872 and do not get too bullish on the markets. Please keep in mind that we are guiding with a Nifty view of 12 months ahead and having said this it does not mean Nifty can not move higher from current prices sure it can move higher and it could move higher but we do not see upside sustaining for a longer duration of time. How to sell, what to sell and when to sell is a different question altogether. Could there be a rally before the fall? Sure anything is possible but will that rally sustain I do not think so. If you are only trading on the basis of this post please use appropriate risk management and then only trade. Please do not over trade under any circumstances.
Sugar will continue doing well even in this turmoil and there are a few other commodities also which will give huge returns from current levels but some more time is remaining for buying them. When the time is right we will tell our PAS clients to buy and hold those commodities for good returns.
Overall the Saturn transit at least initially will not be good for stocks but the first few months of this transit will be very tricky so be careful and do not get carried away by the news flow. The earnings season has been just ok but the real test of numbers will be in the coming time.
Good Trading To You!
